1000 days of struggle, pain and hope

1000 days of war. 1000 days of pain. 1000 days of struggle.

The photo shows little Semyon, who, unfortunately, did not survive. His father, mother and sister were killed in the explosion. Semen was taken to the hospital in a very serious condition, but he could not be saved.

His sister Sofiika was also seriously injured - she was taken to another hospital with a bullet in her neck. We managed to evacuate Sofia to Rome. Italian doctors gave her a second chance at life.
These 1000 days were a test for all of us. We have started evacuating wounded children because every second counts. We are grateful to our international partners who support us and to the doctors who are fighting for the lives of children amidst the sounds of alarms and explosions.

We remember every child who has died. We fight for those who can still be saved. We unite for the sake of life. We thank everyone who helps, you are our heroes. Together we continue to fight for peace, for our children, for the future.
